I am

I am something of a recluse by nature. I’m that cordless screwdriver that needs to be charged for twenty hours so that it can be used for ten minutes. I need a lot of time of maintenance. I daydream. I’ve been like that since I was a kid. My mind wanders, plays and change subjects. I invent characters, I write stories, I pretend I’m a rock star, I pretend I’m a legendary poet, I pretend to be an astronaut; my mind knows no bounds (Donald Miller).

As a hungry man needs food and a thirsty man water, I need solitude - a time to reach that state of peace and tranquility in which I manage to pull myself together, recover my spirits and simply function, and offer to others what I was meant to in the personal plan of God for me (Brennan Manning).
